NEWS AND UPDATES 21/1/07: Poems now have their own subsection (just in case I ever feel like writing more than one. Also so that the page doesn't screw up as badly for people with 800x600 screen dimentions). I'm happy to announce that we've now had over 1000 hits to the main page of the site. Thanks to all those who have visited and added to this count. ARTWORK AND PICS As I have mentioned, I enjoy playing the game 'Gaia' (to visit this site, click on the link of the right frame). As part of this site, it is considered to be nice to draw a picture of the avatar of another player. This is called drawing them an 'Avie Art'. The Characters: Ella
She is the main character in the story. She is one of the few humans in the novel. Her parents were killed by a pair of warlocks at a young age and she was adopted (unofficially) by Yanille's parents. Technically she is still under orphan status. She is very brave and courageous. She is very agile and quick with a sword.
Yanille
Also human, he (yes its a guy but the dollmaker only made girls) is very caring and helpful. He is also brave but is intelligent so knows when something is too dangerous and even when Ella doesn't think so, she would usually believe his judgement (coz he's normally right). He loves having his best friend living in the same house as him and since she is normally off fighting something they don't have much time in the house to get on one another's nerves. He follows her in a lot of her adventures just to keep her safe. He uses a dagger for self defence but isn't much of a fighter.
Fling
She is a female elf. She is incredibly nice and happy. She loves to laugh and have fun. She is a great, warm hearted person. She is a master at throwing spears and can also shoot arrows very well. She is good at distance battling which comes in handy mulitple times throughout the novel.
Glelda
She is a Dragon Lady. She has amazing power and can tame the dragon that guards the land. She is incredibly strong and brave. She has some dragon DNA in her (which causes the green skin, hair and wings) which makes her incredibly tough and short-tempered. She is a master at the bow and arrow.
Sara
She is the Witch of Disipline and Responsibility. She is the eldest, wisest and strongest of the three witches in this book. She has a lot of focus and that is what has gotten her as far as she has come in the practises of witchcraft. She is also very proper and slightly snobby. She doesn't like to talk to any race except for her own and occasionally the warlocks.
Luna
She is the Witch of the Moonlight. She has extreme power, more than most of the other witches, but her power is most strong at night. She is in the middle of her two friends when it comes to age and has a short personality. She uses up a lot of her magic on herself, making herself look good or to act stronger, which means she is often distracted from fighting her opponents.
Phenir
She is the Witch of Passion. She is very passionate about what she does. She is the youngest of the threesome and therefore her powers are not yet fully developed. Though saying this, she is said to have great potentional. She is the kindest of the witches (though none of them are really classed as being kind). She is also very prone to taunting her victims before battling which gives them opportunity to strike.
Merl
He is a well disiplined warlock, the eldest of the group and the strongest. He is the only one that still wears the traditional robes and doesn't use his magic on his looks such as the colour of his hair like the others do. He is focused and uses his magic well.
Chant
He is the youngest of the warlocks. He is not very developed in his magical skill or his judgement. He can be very immature and things at the most inappropriate of times. He is often getting into trouble with his fellow warlocks and witches for being too immature and not acting his age.
Quan
Quan is the fighter. Though he is good at magic also and has been training in the Magicks for many years, he is also exceptional in hand-to-hand fighting. Many of his opponents do not see that coming and therefore are not prepared for it. He is the second oldest in the group and takes the time to look after them and protect them. He even looks after Merl, for Merl doesn't have as much tme to protect the group.
Romar
He is very vain and feels he is superior to those around him. Though he is not the youngest, he often acts it and is very weak with his magic. He does not like to study or learn which is a weak point of his. He is good at defence but shocking at attack which means that often he is hurt or the people around him are hurt because the opponents don't take long to work out the defences that Romar has up. He is very self-centered and doesn't particularly care what happens to his friends, unless them not being their put him in danger.
POEMS Black and White There's a fine line between dark and light, Between brightest day and shadowed night, Hard to define between black and while, Hard to choose if I should run or fight. I know that I should stand my ground. I should be happy, should not frown. Again I'm broken, again I fall, And I forget what there is to be grateful for. My family, my friends, they truely care, Unlike some guy I met somewhere. So instead of thinking 'black and white', Hang out in gray and feel alright. By Alayna 
Breakdancing Kitty This is a breakdancing kitty (as you can see It can sure as hell break better than me Lets hope he just dances and doesn't break any glass Because if he does, he'll get outta here fast Which will leave me with the shattered remains And will also mean that I look like I'm to blame So please little kitty, don't break any glass Because if you do, I'll need to leave fast Because I know how annoyed my mum can get When she sees me with the remains of her glass statuette Oh my God, don't do that, don't break any glass Oh my God, you just did, let's get outta here fast Oh hi mum, what was that, did I break some glass? And now it looks like I'm trying to run away fast? Mum! Mum! It was the kitty I swear! Have you ever seen me jumping from a chair Onto the table where your glassware is kept Then knocking down one of your glass statuettes? Seriously, the kitty did it not me! You know he can breakdance much better than me! It has everything to do with it, sure! Because I was standing two feet on the floor. He was spinning and dancing and jumping off chairs Mum! Mum! It was the kitty I swear. Fine! Don't believe me. This kitty can dance. Watch the little kitty spin and prance. Coz he's a breakdancing kitty (as you can see) And he can sure as hell can break better than me. By Alayna |
