The arguement - Firstly MJ bought Adam a beer (£2), then Tomlin gives money to MJ a buy beer for MJ (£4). Mainly the arguement is about: if one buys u a beer at so much, then u get one in return for the same amount.
It's confusing to illustrate in words what happened but it was over money.
